Today was Viswakarma Puja. People (especially the youth) here go crazy over kites on 17th September every year. I’ve been flying kites since I was probably 7. My performance was poor today by my standards, though. It was the first time I flew kites in 2013, so I was definitely not at the peak of my form. Plus, the wind was slow throughout the day. I tend to perform better under fast wind. Anyway, no qualms. It was fun, deciding to get those kites and theĀ manja (thread) yesterday while returning from school. I’ve got 4 kites left. I’ll probably fly them this coming Sunday. š

Three posts…
I’ve recently published three posts on the TechTage blog. Two by me, and one by Liam McCarthy of Wow Internet. Liam wrote a detailed guide on removing unnatural links to your site. I wrote a very long Ā guide on optimizing and speeding up WordPress sites. Then most recently, I wrote a different kind of post, a case study showing the correlation between user experience and search engine performance.
What I’ve been up to this month
I haven’t been able to blog regularly this month. I was working on a couple of things, studying (remember I’m still in school?), and was involved in a few miscellaneous things.
This month, the start was good with TechTage. I posted a semi-review of CrazyEggĀ which got good reactions from my visitors, and was shared by quite a few people across social networks, including CrazyEgg co-founder Neil Patel.
A week later, I posted the second post of the month. To be honest, I was pleased to put some of my knowledge about optimizing WordPress sites to create a post, over 2.5K words in length, like that.
Naturally, it also got very good reactions from my audience, and was shared across social media by quite a few influencers. I’m embedding some of the tweets below:
These things happened today
Outside of regular things (SEO and tweaking WordPress sites), I’ve read a few interesting articles online, listened to rock music and studied some Physics & Maths on Wikipedia (love it) today. No school today as I was feeling bad in morning. Health’s still not super good.
What’s really up with me…
I’ve been really busy this week. I’ve posted this guide to future proof SEOĀ a few days back, and I’m glad to have posted this MDDHosting Review today. I love them.
I’ve been reading and writing a lot lately. So, I can’t complain spending another bunch of unproductive days.

The episode two of the WPBacon podcastĀ features Syed Balkhi (founder of WPBeginner) & Jacob King (established SEO). They go beyond WordPress, into SEO, running websites and earning money online. The podcast is full of humour and (probably) won’t bore you.
Anyone With a Working Brain Can Predict the Future of SEO
Okay, so they all know what Google is up to. They all know what the Penguin 2.0 update is gonna bring. The future of Search Engine Optimization is as clear as daylight to them. But, you know what… even you can predict how SEO will shape up in the near future, if you keep track of the latest of the search engine world. It’s simple: you know what Google wants, and predict the future of SEO based on that.
Usain Bolt wins the 200 meters in 19.66 seconds in Moscow
Usain Bolt won the 200 meters World Championship title in Moscow, in a relatively slow timeĀ ā 19.66 seconds. He actually ran a pretty good race, and started slowing down 50 meters from the finishing line as Warren Weir manage to reduce the gap between them to just 0.13 seconds. It was Bolt’s third consecutive World 200m title.
